THE HOLY BRIDE — PREPARING OUR HEARTS FOR CHRIST

Introduction
The Bible portrays the people of Christ as His Bride, a powerful metaphor that embodies love, faithfulness, purity, preparation, and anticipation.
Just as a bride meticulously prepares for her wedding day, believers are called to spiritually ready themselves for the return of Christ.
The Message
Preparing for Christ extends beyond mere awareness of His return; it involves living faithfully as we await His coming.
In Matthew 25, Jesus shares the parable of ten virgins: five were prepared, while five were not. The key difference lay in their level of preparation.
The lesson is unmistakable: spiritual readiness cannot be deferred indefinitely.
We cultivate this readiness through obedience, steadfast faith, the pursuit of holiness, forgiveness, vigilance, and by remaining committed to Christ, even in challenging times.
The Bride of Christ must resist the distractions of the world. Believers should continually reflect on this question:
Am I becoming more like Christ, or am I conforming to the world?
True preparation is not about predicting the exact moment of Christ’s return; it is about being ready at all times, no matter when He arrives.
